About us

Who are we?

League of Finnish-Australian Societies is a friendship society established in 1984, and it administrates 12 local societies located all over Finland.

  • There are about 2000 members and friends in Finland, in Europe and in Australia.
  • We have been in Australia and fallen for that country of kangaroos.
  • We have relatives and friends Down Under.
  • Some of us are planning a holiday trip, a business trip, or want to study in Australia, and are looking for more information.
  • Some of us are temporary or permanent residents of Australia.
  • Some of us are just interested in Australia and her nature, people, language, culture and living conditions.

Local societies are responsible for activities in their own region.
